How To Guarantee New Traffic On Your Page

StumbleUpon is a great service for driving traffic to your website. You can "stumble" your page and add it to the correct category and people will be able to randomly find your Uber page when they stumble for sites. This is a great way to get new people to visit your site and read your blog, view your images, and more.

It's an easy two-step process to signup. First you need to complete a quick registration at StumbleUpon.

Then you need to install the StumbleUpon toolbar on your browser. This is how you rate pages with a thumbs up or a thumbs down.

Once you have the toolbar installed on your browser-navigate to your page on Uber. Click the thumbs up and this will add your page to the Stumble network.

Since you will be the first person rating your page, make sure to write a review and tag it appropriately so that it's easier for people to find your page.

Encourage your friends to stumble your page as well by following the steps above. The more people you have stumbling your page, the higher up it will appear in that category, and the more hits/traffic you will receive on your page. It's a fun way to get new people to come to your site and it's especially great if you're looking for a way to get the word out about your page. Anyone looking for an audience is sure to find one with the Stumble tool.

How has Stumble worked for you? Did you find that some sites like this work better than others? Let us know!

this works great, and not only do people find your site, you also get some entertainment.

Great info IceSixxx, definitely something to think about. I've had pretty good luck w/ stumble, but it's different for everyone. Also, it depends on what category you're advertising in. Some people are more harsh in certain categories and nicer in others. That's something to test out as well, try a lot of different categories.

I just gave a try to StumbleUpon ads campaign.
I have to say that I'm a StumbleUppon user since 2 1/2 years.

So, I did set up a little campaign. The test ran for one week and I put 50$ in the campaign. This means 1000 peoples. I played a little bit everyday with the parameters (set 100 peoples the first day then change to get more peoples).

I did set up a Sitemeiter counter on my page: this gives me the numbers of people visiting my page but also give me access to large statistics analysis.

Since I'm an electronic musician, I choose to advert in the IDM/Electronica domain.

Analysis show that 90% of the peoples doesn't stay even a second on the site. But in the 10% that stay longer, they stay for several minutes (between 2 to more than an hour).

I don't have more review in StumbleUpon and, for the 1000 peoples coming, had only 8 more thumbs up.

Some people really like the stuffs and write me nice comments and messages. Some come now everyday to vote in the contest.

My feelings are that it is effective but be ready to spent some dollars for nothing also. A 10 percent efficiency for me means that you can consider it's not 0.05$ by visitor but 0.5$ by visitor who'll stay more than a minute and take some time to listen, read and comment back to you.

Is it worth it? Well, it depends. If you're building a new audience and want to do it quickly and effortless, it's a fast way to drag people to your site but at a certain cost. If you have time, you can work on your social communities like MySpace friends or StumbleUpon friends.

My final word: unless you got plenty of money to spent in the ads campaign system so you can drag thousands to you site, don't rely only on this service to make your notoriety. It is helpful but not exclusive. Working on friends list also brings interested peoples: they're already your friends somewhere else so they know you. Just sell them the benefits of your new site (easy with the tons of features on Uber!).

It's all about commitments.
