Why Having Comments Brings More Visitors To Your Page
Making your page very active in the Uber community is a crucial factor in "getting views" on your page. Like with anything that becomes popular, your page or blog will reach a point where it really catches on and it becomes something that people have to visit. There's always that one thing that finally pushes you over the edge. Many people hang on the brink of popularity on their page, never quite getting that one "thing" that they need. This site will give you what you need to reach the level you're hoping for.

You want your Uber page to become a destination. A destination for readers of your blog, for viewers of your artwork or photography, and everyone else who just wants to see what you're doing. The goal is to get people to come back to your page on a consistent basis. When people see that there is an active community there, they will want to be a part of it. It's inviting to someone to see that you have a ton of comments and a lot of people who are interested in your page or that love to read your blog.

You want to create a community based on what the focus of your page is. People are always more likely to comment and contribute to your page when it's something they are passionate about. With that in mind, when you reach out to an audience you should target people who would actually be interested in what you're doing. I know, this sounds very obvious, but you'd be surprised. Stick to what you know. Also, having an active dialogue through the comments on your page or blog will entice other readers to respond. Many people create this dialogue by posting comments on their own page or blog in response to what others have said.

The overall best way to get comments on your page is by posting comments on other user's pages. Don't just go to their page and say "thanks for the add" because those are easily lost in the bunch. Check out some of their photos or read their blog and post a meaningful comment about what you're seeing. The user will be much more likely to respond with a comment on your page which is obviously the ultimate goal.

Additionally, people follow "comment trails" on pages by seeing who has commented on the current page and then clicking through to another page from what the user has posted there. So this can obviously work both ways for you. By posting often on a lot of other peoples' pages, you are more likely to be seen and your page will probably be picked up on a comment trail. On the other end, if you have a lot of comments on your page, people will come to notice that your page is a great place to find other cool people with pages to visit. This is all part of building your page as a daily destination for people.

So make sure you're encouraging people to visit your page and comment while they're there. And no, this doesn't necessarily mean saying "Hey post a comment on my page." Put a little thought into it. Oh and don't forget to always respond to the comments that people post on your page, no one likes to be ignored!

What have you found to be most successful with comments? We want to hear what works for you. Tell us about it in the comments section.
